Shore and Ypsomed have won a 2021 Red Dot Award for the innovative SmartPilot for UnoPen, a recently launched connected device that enables simple adherence monitoring.
SmartPilot for UnoPen required Shore to support Ypsomed’s in-house team with our expertise in Industrial Design, Product Architecture and User Interface Design, transforming their platform UnoPen Injector into a fully connected system. This tried and tested alliance has now been successfully utilised on a wide range of Ypsomed’s Drug Delivery Devices.
Orfeo Niedermann, Ypsomed’s Director of Business Development Delivery Systems was delighted to acknowledge Shore’s involvement, saying: “Congratulations to Shore. This award is an excellent achievement and reward for our good cooperation.”
