Shore awarded industry recognised EcoVadis Silver Rating

Published: August 2019

We are pleased to announce that Shore have received the industry recognised Ecovadis Silver Star Award for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

As a business we take our responsibility for the impacts of our activities on society and the environment very seriously. We have always been committed to achieving the best working conditions for our employees. Great importance is placed on ensuring we display high moral principles, adhere to laws and regulations and have an awareness of the impact we have on the environment. Seeking best practices for the future sustainability of both the business and the products we develop are core to the values of the company.

Upon confirmation of the award, Shore’s Quality Manager Scott Graham commented: “To achieve the commendable Silver Star Award at the first attempt is a great testament to our values, behaviours and the robustness of our processes and procedures. This level of award is only given to companies achieving an overall result within the top 30% of clients.”

To achieve CSR recognition Shore contracted Ecovadis, one of the world’s leading CSR assessment companies, to conduct a thorough independent assessment of the business. Evidence such as polices, documented processes, results and analyses were made available for evaluation by the independent team of experts, fully supported by the entire team at Shore.

In line with our continuous improvement philosophy, Shore’s objective for 2020 is to achieve the higher Gold status, awarded to only the top 5% of assessed companies.
