Shore looks ahead to 2023 after a year of growth

Published: 20 December 2022

From seven new team members to an increasing client portfolio, 2022 hasn’t been short of milestones.

In March, we celebrated our postponed Christmas party and it also marked two years of employee ownership. The results of our recent employee survey confirms that everyone continues to feel very positively engaged with the company, including an increased sense of team and further strengthening our company foundations and values.

Welcoming seven new starters this year also takes us to a headcount of 37 with positions including: graphic designer, mechanical engineer, management accountant and marketing lead. We’re still hiring for more roles, and they can be viewed on our careers page.

Staff changes have also been implemented. With a collective 30 years at Shore, Ian Scrimgeour and James McLusky were appointed as Directors to assist Managing Director, Nick Foley, both to improve business continuity and supporting our growth plans.

Thankfully 2022 saw the return of face-to-face meetings and in-person conferences. From the Scottish tech community to global drug delivery, we have attended more conferences and events than ever before and relished in the opportunity to exhibit. Showcasing our products has been a real conversation starter. We are proud to share how we have supported clients, whether it be through industrial design, engineering problem solving or full support across the entirety of a project.

Our portfolio of clients has continued to increase and projects with existing customers grow further. We look forward to being able to talk more about these exciting developments soon.

As we look ahead to 2023, we’re excited to celebrate our 20th birthday and hope to maintain the momentum of this year by reaching further milestones.

We would like to thank our customers for their valued partnership in 2022 and wish you a happy and healthy festive period.
